L’AERIO commits to building a site usable by everyone. We target WCAG 2.2 AA on every page and aim higher where the cost is small.

What we do

• Body text at WCAG AA contrast minimum. Most paragraphs clear AAA.
• Keyboard-navigable. Visible focus rings on every interactive element.
• Skip-to-content link on every page.
• Semantic HTML. Headings hierarchical. Forms paired with labels.
• Respects prefers-reduced-motion across all animations.
• Alt text on every meaningful image.
• Honors Ontario AODA standards.
• axe-core CI test gates every PR against new violations.

Land acknowledgement

The house works from Toronto, which sits on the traditional territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishinaabe, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee, and the Wendat peoples. The land is covered by Treaty 13, and is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples.
